Anuj Vora is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jio Institute. He was a postdoctoral researcher in Delft Center for Systems and Control at Delft University of Technology from June 2023 – May 2025. He received his Ph.D. in Systems and Control Engineering in 2022 from IIT Bombay. He attaiend his bachelors and masters degrees in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras in 2016.
His research deals with complex decision-making problems in decentralised, strategic and uncertain environments. During his postdoctoral tunure, he worked on developing stochastic models and algorithms for data-driven online decision-making. This has application ranging from recommendation systems, contract design, clinical trials, scheduling social media posts and advertisements for optimal engagement. His doctoral research dealt with decision-making non-cooperative multi-agent settings emerging in networked systems such as smart electricity grid, smart cities, and certain settings in social sciences such as screening of travellers.
